Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1968).
Introduced in United Kingdom by C. Gregory & Son Ltd. in 1968 as 'Orange Silk'.
Introduced in Australia by Treloar Roses in 1970 as 'Orange Silk'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  Orange-vermilion.  Mild fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, cupped, expanded bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
