Origin:
Bred by Alister Clark (Australia, before 1949).
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1951 as 'Glenara'.
Class:
Climber, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, ages to lighter .  Mild fragrance.  15 to 20 petals.  Average diameter 3.75".  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, upright.  Leathery foliage.  
Height of 6' 7" to 11½' (200 to 350 cm).  Width of 5' 11" (180 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar.  Can be grown as a shrub.
