John Davis. Light to medium pink. 40 [petals]. 72". Repeat.
An explorer rose. A kordesii hybrid. Large, arching, May be used as a climbing pillar rose. Clusters of fragrant (spicy), clear pink flowers up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) across with a yellow eye. Almost continous bloom under ideal conditions. Leaves maturing from reddish to dark green foliage on thorny cane. Somewhat susceptible to disease. Very hardy, but if used as a Climbing rose, lay cane on the ground before covering it with soil and a thick layer of whole leaves (zone 3).
