Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1900).
Introduced in France by Pernet-Ducher, Joseph in 1903 as 'Monsieur Joseph Hill'.
Introduced in Australia by Henry Sewell, Payneham Nurseries in 1905 as 'Joseph Hill'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink and orange-red, yellow highlights, orange-pink reverse, yellow shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.
