Origin:
Discovered by Gustav Grunewald (Germany, 1923).
Introduced in Germany by Victor Teschendorff in 1923 as 'Eva Teschendorff'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
White, green shading.  Mild fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double to double, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns.  Small, glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 15" to 20" (40 to 50cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Both Eva Teschendorff and Echo were reclassified as polyanthas in MR12 (from hybrid multiflora).
