Discovered by De Ruiter Innovations BV (Netherlands, 1929).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Sparkler'.

Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Ruby-red.  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Light green foliage.  
Height of 18" (45 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
