Introduced in United States by Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. in 1997 as 'Watermelon Ice'.

Shrub.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Fruity fragrance.  10 to 15 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Short, arching, bushy, spreading.  Small, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 18" (45cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for ground cover.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
