Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1985).
Introduced in New Zealand by Egmont Roses in 1991 as 'Moody Blues'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend, darker reverse, ages to lighter .  None / no fragrance.  40 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, in large clusters, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 37" to 4'11" (95 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to rust .  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
