Origin:
Bred by Marie-Louise (aka Widow,Vve) Schwartz (France, 1893).
Class:
Hybrid Noisette, Noisette.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, ruby-red shading, lighter center, silver(y) reverse.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sangerhausen describes the color of the bloom as carmine-pink with a darker center. The Sangerhausen and L'Haÿ clones differ, with the latter more in line with the early descriptions.
