Is 'Ferox' anywhere to be found in the USA? Or even in North America?

It used to live at Ashdown. That collection went to Rogue Valley Roses, and 'Ferox' disappeared from view, along with 'Sophy de Marsilly', 'Lady Emily Peal' and some other much desired cultivars.

Next, 'Ferox' found a new home at Eurodesert. When that collection went to Vintage Gardens, I ordered, bought and paid for a 'Ferox' only to receive an email that it was "unavailable". Now, the Eurodesert collection has moved on to Heirloom Roses, and still, no 'Ferox'.

There would seem to be at least two mother plants of 'Ferox' out there,...somewhere. I can't believe both have died. Maybe they live in Carmen Sandiego's garden.

Nastarana...........

Heirloom Roses may not have enough plants propagated to list the rose in their inventory. You might want to contact the nursery directly.
