Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1950).
Class:
Centifolia, Moss, Moss - Modern, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, very double, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  Light green, leathery, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  

Height: 4' (120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
