Notes:
Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, was born at No. 24 Merrion Street Upper in Dublin, Ireland, on 29 April 1769. He died 14 September 1852 in Kent and is buried in St. Paul's Cathedral, London.

The 1842 reference equates 'Wellington' with Rosa centifolia reclinata (centifolia by Bozérian)
