Introduced in United Kingdom by Style Roses in circa 2016 as 'Velvet Lustre'.

Bloom:
Red blend.  Magenta red. Red through to apricot pink centre.  Strong fragrance.  up to 30 petals.  Medium, borne mostly solitary, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 43" to 4'5" (110 to 135cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden.

Notes:
According to the New Zealand Plant Variety Rights (PVR) web page, application for a PVR Grant for this rose was made April 10, 1979 and granted June 6, 1980 (PVR Grant No. 83). The breeder's Reference for this rose is Simplano. The denomination is 'Velvet Lustre'. This PVR Grant expires June 6, 2003.
