Origin:
Bred by George Dawson (1904-1991) (Australia, 1969).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1970 as 'Great Venture'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow blend.  Orange yellow, flushed carmine pink.  Strong fragrance.  30 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 5¼' (150 to 160cm).  Width: 4'1" to 4¼' (125 to 130cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or exhibition.
