Heirloom roses doesn't carry this one. They have the 1973 'Black Beauty' by Delbard.

I recieved this rose last year. Since then it has done well for me. For a florist rose it made it through an exceptionally tough winter (By SC standards) well.
I only had a few blooms in my time with it last year but they have that charming velvet look to them and the buds are very dark.
I give a rose 3 years to prove itself in my garden. This one has a promising start so far.
