Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Julia, Countess of Dartrey'.

Cherry-red, yellow undertones.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Tall, bushy, well-branched.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  vigorous.
