Bred by Kenneth J. "Ken" Nobbs (New Zealand, circa 1985).
Introduced by Unknown (New Zealand) in 1997 as 'Charlotte Kemp'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Purple, white center.  Purple Violet (80B).  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2.25".  Single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Trinity Farm says this rose has clusters of strong purple blooms with a yellow eye and excellent foliage...
