Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1910).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Beauté de Lyon'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Coral-red, light yellow shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Height of 4' (120 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
