Origin:
Bred by George Dawson (1904-1991) (Australia, before 1978).
Introduced in Australia by Australian Roses Pty Ltd in 1978 as 'Countrywoman'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Or lemon yellow tinted pink. Flower similar to 'Peace'..  Strong fragrance.  up to 90 petals.  Average diameter 10".  Medium, borne mostly solitary, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns.  Medium green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 4'7" to 4'11" (140 to 150cm).  Width: 43" to 47" (110 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
'Countrywoman' blooms better in spring. Blooms last one day in hot summers.
