Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft Brothers Ltd. in 1949 as 'Alaska'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1951 as 'Alaska'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Cream, lemon-yellow undertones.  Strong fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
