Origin:
Bred by George Dawson (1904-1991) (Australia, 1972).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1978 as 'Sybil Hipkin'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Mild fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Borne mostly solitary, cupped, exhibition bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 39" (100cm).  Width: 47" to 4'1" (120 to 125cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
The dates vary in the references. It is presumed that Brundrett introduced this rose.
