Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1945).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1951 as 'Elfe'.

Floribunda.  
Bloom:
White, pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  10 petals.  Medium to large, single to semi-double, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Ploidy:
Triploid
Notes:
Modern Roses 10 reported that this rose was extinct, in order that the name could be assigned to a new 'Elfe'.
Mentioned in the American Rose Annual 1952 as one of the New Roses of the World.
