Origin:
Bred by Armand Garçon (France, before 1877).
Introduced in France by Margottin père & fils in 1878 as 'Boieldieu'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Boieldieu'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
