Bred by Soupert & Notting (Luxembourg, before 1906).
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Polyantha, Cl..  
Bloom:
Vermilion - crimson, carmine-red reverse, copper highlights.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Bar-le-Duc was listed in Soupert & Notting's catalog of 1907.
