Bred by Joseph Schwartz (France, 1878).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Emilie Plantier'.
Class:
Bourbon, Hybrid Noisette.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, copper shading, ages to cream .  Ruffled center.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing, lax.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Very vigorous.
