Introduced in United Kingdom by Paul and Son / George Paul in 1876 as 'Emily Laxton'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Emily Laxton'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red to Pink.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  

Height: 39" (100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
