Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1945).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1949 as 'Wheatcroft's Golden Polyantha'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, ages to lemon-yellow .  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium, single to semi-double, cluster-flowered, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
