Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1937).
Class:
Climber, Hybrid Multiflora, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Light yellow.  Mild fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: up to 12' (up to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Euterpe the "Giver of Pleasure" is the Greek muse of music.
Euterpe is classified as a hybrid multiflora in MR12. 'Euterpe' in sangerhausen and in the San Jose Heritage Rose Gardens could be different.
