Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1923).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1925 as 'Amélie de Bethune'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Coral-red, yellow undertones, darker reverse, ages to rose-pink .  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Height of up to 30" (up to 75 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
