Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1930).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) as 'Amulett'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Amulett'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy foliage.  
Height of 16" to 28" (40 to 70 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
