Dark red Floribunda.
Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, before 1936).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'Musette'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Mild fragrance.  Large, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Large, dark green, leathery, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  

Height: 1' to 16" (30 to 40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
