Origin:
Discovered by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1928).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'August Noack'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  Moderate, old rose fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, high-centered, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
