Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1966).
Introduced in Australia by Langbecker in 1973 as 'Fragrant Hour'.
Introduced in New Zealand by Avenue Roses/Avenue Nurseries (Levin) Ltd. in 1974 as 'Fragrant Hour'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-pink.  Flowers bronze-pink.  Strong fragrance.  35 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, upright.  Large, light green foliage.  

Height: 35" to 47" (90 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew, susceptible to rust .  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
