Introduced in Australia by Heyne's Nurseries Pty. Ltd. in 1900 as 'Gaston Chandon'.

Bloom:
Cerise, light pink shading, copper undertones.  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
