Mauve or mauve blend Hybrid Wichurana.
Origin:
Bred by Barbier Frères & Compagnie (France, 1900).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1905 as 'Auguste Barbier'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana.  
Bloom:
Lilac, purple shading, white center.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
