Bred by César Chambard (France, before 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Lillian Gomez-Mena'.

Bloom:
Cream, salmon-pink shading, carmine-pink edges.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
