This is a NICE rose. If it isn't the same parentage as MEDALLION and GOLDEN GATE then it is close, one of the J&P/Warriner clan from the mid-70's that got introduced more or less on the fact the bloom can be HUGE (riding the First Prize craze)............the color is fresh and nice, more pink than apricot but very lovely and the foliage is dark and big and also lovely............it does get blackspot in humidity. It isn't as apricot as Apricot Nectar (older) or Marilyn Monroe (newer) and the big bloom can be floppy..............probably one for the collector I realize as I type this...........not at all a BAD rose, actually a GOOD rose. A very 70's rose.

The height of this rose is closer to 6' than 3' in the southeast, or, it is even taller if not pruned back regularly

It was a good 6'+ in my Southern California garden, too, since I didn't prune it hard.
