Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, before 1936).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'Freia'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Short, upright.  Large, glossy foliage.  

Height: 1' to 16" (30 to 40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
