Discovered by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1917).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Louise Catherine Breslau, Cl.'.

Bloom:
Orange-red, copper shading, yellow reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
