Golden Ophelia and Roselandia are not very distinct. Their deep yellow petals fade to white at the edges but this does not detract from the beauty of the medium-sized flowers. They are popular varieties in the cut-flower trade.

Golden Ophelia (Cant, 1918) is supposed to be an Ophelia sport, but, if so, it is perhaps the only one that has not the very sweet fragrance of its parent. Golden Ophelia is tea-scented. It is a nice yellow Rose, but occasionally fails to open well, another characteristic that s quite different to practically all the Ophelia group.
