Bred by César Chambard (France, before 1928).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1931 as 'Diane de Broglie'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Coral - orange.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Large, glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.

Notes:
Possibly dedicated to Diane Marie Berthe de Broglie (April 28, 1907 Paris - May 12, 1987 La Tour-Blanche), daughter of Prince Jacques de Broglie. She married on June 2, 1930 Napoléon Lannes de Montebello, the 6th Duke of Montebello.
