Bred by John & Robyn Sheldon (United States, 1995).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink blend.  Mild fragrance.  24 to 36 petals.  Large, classic hybrid tea, exhibition bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).  Width of 30" to 3' (75 to 90 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  
Notes:
'Grandpa Dan' is no longer being tested for possible introduction. It was decided NOT to commercially introduce this rose. It is registered for exhibition purposes only and as a record of parentage.
