Introduced in United States by Wayside Gardens in 1942 as 'Meda'.

Bloom:
Orange-pink, rose-pink center.  Strong fragrance.  40 to 60 petals.  Average diameter 3.75".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, open, scalloped bloom form.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Large, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be grown as a shrub.
