Origin:
Bred by Jean-Pierre Vibert (France, before 1842).
Introduced in France by Victor Verdier et fils in before 1842 as 'Angelina'.
Class:
Alba, Damask Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Purple - pink. [Deep pink.]  Medium, semi-double to double, full (26-40 petals), rounded bloom form.  
Habit:
Short, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:
If you know the parentage of this rose, or other details, please contact us.
Notes:
The alba listed in 1842 is very probably identical with the damask perpetual 'Angélina', as all following roses listed in the Revue Horticole 1842 as Albas are damask perpetuals (missing subtitle).
