Bred by Franz Praskac (Austria, 1913).
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Crimson, white center, golden-yellow stamens, ages to dark red .  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 1.75".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Small foliage.  
Height of 9' 10" to 13' 1" (300 to 400 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower, ground cover or pillar.  Hardy.  very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
