Origin:
Bred by Isabella Preston (Canada, circa 1938).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Ontario (Central Experimental Farm) in circa 1946 as 'Nascapee'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
White or white blend.  Mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall.  

Height: 7' (215cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Can be used for garden, landscape or shrub.  Hardy.  vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The Nakapi (or Nascapee) were a native community in Labrador, Canada. They were around as long ago as the 10th Century, when they met the Vikings.
