Origin:
Bred by Gerald Adriaan Van Rossem (Netherlands, 1921).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1923 as 'Ma Fiancée'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson - scarlet, darker shading.  Strong fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
