Cherry Parfait is simply a wonderful garden rose. It has proven itself extremely hardy and disease resistant. It just never stops blooming and the blooms age very gracefully.
These blooms are after four days of high 90's and low 100 degree heat. Impressive by any standard.
I would recommend this rose to anyone, novice or full blown rose addict.

Out of all 50-odd roses in my garden, Cherry Parfait is the most disease resistant and the most prolific. Powdery mildew visited many of my roses this spring, but Cherry Parfait remained untouched. I pruned Cherry Parfait earlier in the year, and it was the first to begin blooming again. Shortly thereafter, three adjacent roses were attacked by spider mites, and all received the same treatment (chemicals, spray washes). Gemini, my favorite HT, died. Cherry Parfait, however, rebounded almost instantaneously and continues to bloom like crazy. Meanwhile, Sentimental struggles to recover, producing miniature buds and dessicated blooms that are nothing like the peppermint candy blooms it formerly produced. All in all, Cherry Parfait receives my vote for best floribunda!

I too think this is a wonderful rose!  I live in Eugene, OR , Zone 8A.  This bush's first rose of the season is just about to open and there are about 20 more buds that will open in the next couple of weeks.  The foliage on this rose is beautiful.  I have only had some problems with black spot, but it's only on the lower branches of the bush that get hit by the sprinkler.  Also, not one aphid!
