Bred by Dr. Felicitas Svejda (Canada, 1961).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Ontario (Central Experimental Farm) in 1968 as 'Moncton'.
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  20 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Small, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Hardy.

Ploidy:
Diploid
