Origin:
Bred by Isabella Preston (Canada, 1924).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Ontario (Central Experimental Farm) as 'Poliarchus'.

Bloom:
White blend, apricot shading, ages to cream .  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:

Height: 4' (120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5a and warmer.  Hardy.  
Breeder's notes:
Open-pollinated seeds of R.Harisoni were sown, and some interesting seedlings were grown...Poliarchus has single pale pink flowers which fade rapidly to cream. All of these are very hardy, and keep their foliage in good condition until late in the season.
